Student Conference Scholarship

Student Conference Scholarship Applications Open

NDEO is proud to offer annual scholarships to dance or dance education college students pursuing an associate, undergraduate or graduate degree in dance or dance education to help defray the costs associated with attending NDEO’s 2025 Annual National Conference in Detroit, MI. For more conference information please click here.

For the 2025 National Conference, NDEO will offer TWO undergraduate students and TWO graduate students a scholarship package consisting of one year of NDEO student or young professional membership, free conference registration, and a $300 check. NDEO Members and Non-Members are eligible to apply.

Applicants need to: Be currently enrolled full-time in a dance or dance education degree program at public or private college or university, junior / community college, or conservatory (post high school). Or have just graduated in 2025 from one of these institutions. PhD/EdD students are not eligible for this scholarship.

How to Submit Your Application:

Members

  1. Go to your Member Dashboard on the NDEO website.
  2. Click on Awards in the lefthand menu.
  3. Find 2025 Student Conference Scholarship Application and click the purple Apply button
  4. Please write N/A under "Why are you applying for this award?" This is a standardized question and cannot be removed.

Non-members

  • If you have a user login for this website (e.g. expired members, non-members who have signed up for NDEO programs in the past), use those credentials to log into the NDEO website and follow the steps for members above. 
  • If you do not have a user login for this site, you must first Create an Account by clicking here. Once you have an account, you can follow the steps above.
  • Please write N/A under "Why are you applying for this award?" This is a standardized question and cannot be removed.
